This Is Where I Leave You - Jonathan Tropper I don't know if I'd call this one of the best books of the year -- and comparisons to the Bluth family seem a little far-fetched -- but it's an enjoyable read. Tropper's narrator, Judd Foxman, speaks to the reader as though you're an old friend and he's simply recounting this awful week of his life over a beer -- and he's one of the few fictional narrators who can genuinely make me laugh out loud. I knocked him down from four stars only because he used a few too many fart jokes for my taste.
